This is a summary of the Council Meeting held on Monday 17^th June 2013 and approved by Council on16th September 2013.

 

a) Council approved the closure of the Course until 6.00p.m. on Friday 28^th June Ladies’ Captain’s Day.

 

b) Council approved the reservation of the Mixed Lounge for the use of the Ladies’ Captain and her guests until the presentation of prizes on 28^th June. 

 

c) Council elected to membership one Full, one Lady Associate, four Juvenile, fourteen Junior, two Social and readmitted one Full Member.  

 

d) Council approved the relaxation of playing times for 5 Day, Associate and Junior term Members during July and August.

 

e) Council approved that over the summer months the affairs of the Club should be conducted by the Honorary Officers.

 

f) Council dealt with two letters of correspondence from Club Members.

 

j) Council approved a 3% price increase in Bar Prices effective from 1st July 2013.

 

h) Council approved that the Mixed Lounge should now be known as the Downview Lounge, the Members Bar should be renamed the Cavehill Bar and that it should be open for use by all adult members and their guests. Junior members should not be permitted at any time. The former Ladies Lounge should be renamed as the Castle Meeting Room to be used by purposes designated by Council or on the permission of the Honorary Secretary.
