AGM MONDAY 23rd FEBRUARY 2015

 

 

 

1. MOTIONS

 

Constitutional Amendment No.1 was carried

 

This AGM agrees the proposed changes to Rule 12, Rule 43 and Rule 44 of Fortwilliam Golf Club as set out in the Revised Version of the Rules in the AGM Booklet.

 

Constitutional Amendment No.2 was carried

 

This AGM agrees the proposed changes to Rule 4, Rule 6, Rule 7, Rule 10, Rule 15, Rule 35, Rule 37 and Rule 41 of Fortwilliam Golf Club as set out in the Revised Version of the Rules in the AGM Booklet.

 

Constitutional Amendment No.3 was carried

 

This AGM agrees the proposed changes to Rule 27 of Fortwilliam Golf Club as set out in the Revised Version of the Rules in the AGM Booklet.

 

Constitutional Amendment No.4 was not carried

 

This AGM agrees the proposed changes to Rule 29. Rule 31 and Rule 36 of Fortwilliam Golf Club as set out in the Revised Version of the Rules in the AGM Booklet.  Insofar as these amendments apply to Trustees they shall only have effect with regard to those Trustees elected at the 2015 AGM and thereafter.

 

 

2. ELECTIONS

3. TREASURER’S REPORT

 

Key points from Annual Statement of Accounts Financial year Oct 2013 - Sept 2014

 

Significant improvement in our financial position

 

Operating Surplus of £63,901      (operating deficit of £33,865 in 2012-13)

 

Overall Deficit reduced by £107,128

 

 

Cash Flow Projections for the Financial Year Oct 2014 – Sept2015

 

Reduced Budgets have been set for 2014-15

 

Projected operating surplus of £164,953

 

Projected overall surplus of £40,000

 

These figures to be reviewed at the end of March to take into account any discrepancy between the actual income from membership subscriptions this year and the projected income figure

 

Members will be provided with a financial update in April
