Course Conditions 26/10/2015

All

As we move into late Autumn and early Winter the playing conditions of the course have expectedly changed.

There are 2 main aspects to be aware of are:

  1. The course is currently playing preferred lies  "Lift, Clean and Place" through the green. The player may mark, lift and clean his ball without penalty. Before lifting, he must mark the position of the ball. The player must then place the ball on a spot within six inches of and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

  1. All the bunkers on the course have been defined as being ground under repair, you may take relief in this case without penalty. When dropping from ground under repair, you must take the nearest point of relief (stance) and one club length. Make sure you drop the ball no closer to the hole.
