Course Development Update  -  August 2018

This season the Course Development programme has involved reshaping the 4th green surround, remodelling the 10th bunker and adding drainage to the 14th and 17th green surrounds.

At the end of August, the drainage contractor (Haffey Sportgrounds) will begin installing pipe and sand slits in fairways 3, 8, and 14. This includes laying approximately, 300 metres of 150mm perforated pipe, 1000 metres of 80mm perforated pipe followed by 7000 metres of sand slits crossing over the pipes.

The 17th bunker will be remodelled and the bunkers on the 12th are being filled to reshape the green surround.

There are a few smaller drainage projects that include installing pipe on the 9th (left of the fairway), 7th (right of the fairway), and the 6th (front left of the tee boxes).
