UPDATE: 2014 Inter-Club Draws and Qualifying Venues Released 08/12/2013

The G.U.I. have now released the DRAFT draws for all 2014 inter-club team competitions. Fortwilliam's opponents in the match play and venues for qualifying in these competitions are listed underneath, along with a little inspiration from days gone by!

All draws published are listed in the Inter-Club teams section within the "Men's Section" of this website and results will follow as and when they are played.

2014 Matchplay Team competitions

Barton shield 2014

The winners between Carrickfergus and Gracehill, who play a preliminary round, will meet Fortwilliam in the first round proper at Belvoir Park on Sunday 15 June 2014. A tough match awaits the winners in the afternoon of the same day as it is likely to be against Belvoir around their own course.

Belfast & District Cup 2014

Our B&D team face a tough match against Knock in the first round with the first leg played at home and the tie to be played by 28th April. The winner will meet Rockmount in the second round.

Ulster Cup 2014

Having received a bye in the first round, Fortwilliam are away to Carnalea in the first leg of the second round with the tie to be played by 26th May. If successful in this match, the winners of Clandeboye and Tandragee await in round 3

Ulster Fourball 2014

Our Fortwilliam Dream Team will travel to Mourne GC for the first leg of the Ulster Fourball with the tie to be played on or before 28 April 2014. If victorious, a longer journey to either Clogher Valley or Bundoran is to be enjoyed in round 2.

Fred Daly 2014

Our Juniors face quite a trek to Ballybofey in the second round having received a bye in the first. The tie is to be played by 12th May with the first leg at home. In the third round the winners of Fintona and Whitehead lie in wait.
