Email issues

In the coming weeks & months Fortwilliam Golf Club will be sending you important information about the club during the ongoing pandemic. The club aims to phase out sending information by post and will use others forms of effective communication such as emails, the club’s website and social media.

All member communication is sent to you by email through ClubV1 membership hub.  ClubV1 communication history shows that some members either do not read their emails or their emails are undelivered. There are a few reasons why this may happen;

1.     A member’s email history may show that the email was undelivered. This means that the email was sent to the member and reached the members server but was rejected because of the members mail server policy.

2.     The email was delivered to the members inbox but was not recognised and was moved to the junk mail folder (aka SPAM).

3.     We do not have the correct email address.

If you haven’t already provided an email address or if you have changed your email address please email it to office@fortwilliamgc.co.uk.

ClubV1 have suggested that all members with email delivery problems add the domain “@hdid.co.uk” to their contact or safe senders list.   This is the email address they use to send Club communications from.

Other than this, we cannot advise any further – it would be an issue for your email provider, and we would suggest you contact them directly and report the problem.
