New Course Layout (11th December) 11/12/2020

 

 

After a recent inspection by the Greens Convenor and the Head Greenkeeper, it has been decided that the course layout for the remainder of December will change to 1,2,3,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 and 18.

Whilst the entire course is extremely wet, conditions in particular areas of the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th have deteriorated to such an extent that it was felt that a change to the layout became essential to protect both the members and the course.

It should be noted that the tee-box on the 14th will be moved to the forward ladies’ tee. This is to mitigate against some of the worst areas on the right-hand side of the hole.

Members are also reminded that Week 7 of the Winter League will be played from Friday the 11th to Tuesday the 15th inclusive and Week 8 (Finals week) will be played from Wednesday the 16th to Sunday the 20th inclusive.

Details on the format of the annual presentation will be provided in due course.
