CHRISTMAS HANDICAP DOUBLES

The snooker section held the Christmas handicap doubles competition on Thursday 21st Dec. The night was deemed a great success. We had 15 pairs competing. The final involved Chris Crangle & Eamonn O'Kane Vs Deaglan Lundy & Michael Curran. The game was played in  good spirit and there was a great atmosphere for the final with most players who competed staying to spectate/heckle.  Congratulations to Deaglan and Michael who were the eventual winners.

The snooker committee would like to thank all those who competed in the competition. We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and wish all our members a Happy New Year for 2018.  The snooker section would like to welcome anyone with an interest in playing snooker and potentially representing one of the teams to contact the clubs assistant professional Chris Crangle.                                                                                      

                                                 

Christmas Update                                                                                                                           

Hello all!

 

The league tables have been updated. Still all to play for!

 

You'll see that while the C League is totally up-to-date, both the A and B leagues have some matches outstanding, delayed due to a variety of reasons. Can the affected Captains please get together and have these matches played as soon as possible - there are only 4 weeks left of the 1st Half in the New Year and we'd like to complete on time before the commencement of the Ivan Martin in February.

 

Nothing to add other than to wish you all, and your teams/clubs, a very happy festive season, and a healthy and peaceful 2018.
